Here is the schedule for the 3-Day Traditional Music Camp, which will take place from Thursday, January 22, 2009 through Saturday, January 24, 2009 at the Fiddle & Pick building, 456 Highway 70 in Pegram, TN. This schedule can and will change (see "TBA") depending upon class sizes, which will be determined by the applicants for the camp and their interests.

Friday, Jan 23, 2009: Old-Time Staff Event at 8 PM. Features the "Stuart Brothers" Travis & Trevor from North Carolina, Tim May, Brian Christianson and Todd Cook performing at the Big Nashville Contra Dance at the Second Pres. Church on Woodmont Blvd. (See Nashville CountryDancers.org for exact directions).
*Arrive early at 7:30 to get some basic instruction (if you can hold hands and walk; you can do this...or just come watch the dance and enjoy listening to this great band!).
The Dance is 8:00-10:30 (NOTE: Campers have to pay for this dance because it is how they pay the musicians and it is held by different organization than MHC at Fiddle & Pick)
Saturday, Jan 24, 2009: Irish Staff Camp Event at 8 PM: A Ceili Party with musical performances by New York, Oregon, and Alaskan Irish session musicians: Rose Flanangan, Eamon O'Leary, Susie Perri, Nancy Conescu, Linda Hickman. Also featuring Irish step dancing, Ceili Dancing with Wendy Windsor-Hashiguchi and Irish Set Dancing with Julie Buzzell. You can join in on the Dancing or just Party with us "campers" and staff while watching the Ceili Band and Dancers!
